Elle is a personal concierge service. To do the job we hold real details about your life, so here is exactly what we collect, why, and what we never do with it.
Calendar and email access are opt-in. Nothing is connected until you connect it, and you can disconnect at any time by telling us.
To run the service: to answer you, anticipate what you need, book and track things on your behalf, and remember your preferences so you never have to repeat yourself. We also use it to improve how Elle works.
Only the service providers that make Elle work, and only as far as they need it: our messaging provider, our voice and telephony provider, our AI providers for drafting and transcription, and our cloud and storage providers. They act on our instructions. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
To book or purchase something for you, we may share the minimum necessary with that vendor, such as a name, a date, or a party size. We ask before anything involving your money.
Your profile is kept while you are a member and for a reasonable period after, so you can come back without starting over. Ephemeral notes are aged out automatically. Ask us to delete your information and we will.
Just text us or email hello@withelle.co. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, and we honor those requests the same way.
Access is limited to the people running Elle. Credentials are held in managed secret storage, not in our code. No system is perfect, and we will tell you promptly if something material happens to your information.
Elle is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children. Members do share details about their own kids so we can help with family logistics, and that information is treated like everything else here.
If we change this materially, we will tell you before it takes effect.
